JOIN US and Increase Your Impact
The great Give starts TODAY!
We're asking you to take five minutes and contribute $5 or more to provide life-changing resources to Connecticut's most vulnerable populations.
With the elimination of the Office of Violence Prevention and cuts to Department of Justice grants, your support means more than ever. Your donation will provide vital resources for cash transfer programming for victims of violence, formerly incarcerated individuals, and families facing homelessness.

YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Thanks to the generosity of contributors like you, 5 years ago, 4-CT was born out of the emergent need to align philanthropic efforts and find new ways to tackle the health and economic disparities of Connecticut's most vulnerable populations. With the support of Governor Ned Lamont, our initial programs focused on addressing gaps in the state and federal response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Today, federal funding uncertainty is impacting organizations that serve our most vulnerable. Cuts to services and potential changes to Medicaid are leading to new crises for families.
4-CT remains committed to empowering individuals by giving resources directly to people who need them most. As Governor Lamont noted in 2020, "4-CT will act as a vital tool to help provide much needed outside investment to keep our programs and services stable during this tenuous time." We plan to do the same today.
With you, 4-CT has distributed more than $7.9M in cash assistance to nearly 16,000 individuals in need across Connecticut. You've helped us reach 42,000 individuals based upon household size.
There's significant research on the positive impact of direct, unconditional cash transfers on poverty, labor employment, housing mobility, physical and mental health and crime. Thanks to you, 4-CT is able to run these programs in our state, partnering with local organizations on design and evaluation.
You can make a difference TODAY!
