Homeless Shelter Diversion

The Connecticut Coalition to End Homelessness, works to prevent and end homelessness in Connecticut. In partnership with members of the community, CCEH works to create change through leadership, advocacy, and building capacity of members and the field to respond to challenges. During the COVID-19 pandemic, 4-CT partnered with CCEH to divert individuals from homeless shelters to prevent the spread of further illness.  Through this grant, the CCEH disbursed funds on a case by case to help individuals who had exhausted all other options and would otherwise lose their housing.
