Connecticut Fair Housing Center (CFHC) is a civil rights legal organization that has been working to ensure that all people have access to the housing of their choice free from discrimination. In response to shifting concerns during the COVID pandemic, CFHC launched a dedicated initiative to assist the most vulnerable Connecticut residents fight housing loss due to eviction and foreclosure. Through statewide and targeted community outreach efforts, this project will identify, contact, educate and provide legal advice or representation to the most marginalized populations such as those with disabilities and those who do not speak English and often lack knowledge of and access to legal resources. 4-CT funds will allow CFHC to provide legal aid to approximately 300 families, as part of a larger effort supported by the State, the Connecticut Bar Foundation and other philanthropic organizations.
4-CT is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit.
